The Role:
Position Overview
Responsible for ensuring all Electrical maintenance on the platform is carried out in line with Client's procedures and standards

Accountabilities
* Lead, plan, co-ordinate and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and vendors, ensuring all preventative and corrective maintenance is executed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Client's maintenance management system

Key Duties
* Engender a culture of continuous HSE performance improvement via transfer of knowledge and sharing of best practice
* Demonstrate excellent safety leadership behaviours at all times and ensure all team members achieve outstanding performance in meeting Company HSE and business targets
* Ensuring compliance with Company performance standards.
* Liaise with the Offshore Maintenance Team Lead and platform leadership to determine and agree priorities
* Play a key role in the daily CMMS (WORM) Meeting, prioritisation review and YTT Review Meeting with
Maintenance & Operations teams
* Responsible for the management of all Electrical POB related activity, including additional manpower requirements over and
above agreed Electrical related discipline technicians to ensure maintenance plan delivered as per schedule
* Responsible for all asset Electrical Maintenance Vendor & Subcontractor management
* Accountable to ensure work history is comprehensively recorded in line with CMMS data quality requirements for maintenance related activity
* Support the integrated planning process to maximise plant uptime and optimise resources to ensure the completion
of all critical and breakdown maintenance activities
* Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with ISSOW including comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks
* Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily time writing
* Ensure accurate completion of IREX requests for material orders and inventory call offs (correct budget codes, QA/QC checks)
* Provide supervision and support for all team members in terms of technical issues
* Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels
* Management of all Electrical monthly key performance areas - (PM & Breakdown Compliance, Backlog, Plan Attainment)
* Responsible for the Electrical discipline team performance, development and annual competence assessments
* Where requested participate in the AFA process and provide technical and planning expertise to ensure modifications are implemented on time, closeouts completed with full history recorded and signed off, and within budget
* Actively participate in all RCA / RCM, Improvement related activity and ensure consistency with our PM strategy
* Actively contribute towards production management and effective utilisation of asset's Production Loss Management System
* Identify asset threats and opportunities and actively support the ATOM process
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and removal of low value activities
* Ensure support for shutdown related activity, Interface with shutdown co-ordinator with regard to pre/post-shutdown activities
* Report all accidents and incidents, lead and participate in incident investigations where required
* Carry out audits to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedure and site directives
* Perform Emergency Response duties in accordance with requirements
* Ensure site compliance with Company's Electrical Safety Rules
* Carry out Competence Assessment and Assurance activities at site as required to meet Asset/Organisational requirements

Education Attainment & Accreditation
* Must have core trade competence in electrical discipline, must have level 3 NVQ in core discipline or equivalent
* A valid Compex Certificate.
* 1st Line supervisor training./SMTD or working towards
* Advanced Gas Tester Level 1
* L&D 9DI or equivalent
Professional Skills & Experience
* The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and apply it in the workplace

Our Client is an O&G exploration and production company based in Aberdeen who operate in the North Sea. They have interests in a large number of fields, the majority of which they operate, on the UK Continental Shelf with numerous offshore installations and one onshore terminal.
