The Role:
Accountabilities
* Lead the scheduling process and assure the quality of information within Work orders that are progressed to a 'Ready to Schedule' status
* Co-Ordinate weekly Maintenance Scheduling / Planning meetings and conversations, build and issue the weekly schedule
* Deliver the frozen schedule resource levelled with capacity for backlog, routine PM and breakdown work.
* Ensure effective and efficient delivery of all activities within the schedule / plan, both routine PM and breakdown work orders working to agreed target start dates for all priorities where possible
* Ensure adequate resource scheduling and leveling within core and vendor limitations
* Maintain effective communications with all parties involved in the generation, preparations and implementation of all planning and scheduling activities

Key Duties
* Run Routine & Breakdown work order look-ahead to identify work for inclusion in the schedule based on risk, basing the future scheduling capacity on historical burn rate, ensuring not to overload future work demand
* Update Job Plan planned hours, tasks and crafts to accurately reflect the resource requirements for PM and CM activities
* Challenge asset scheduling activities, eliminating waste and focusing in prioritising production critical and safety critical WO's based on available capacity, fore log and backlog
* Ensure that low value, low criticality, low risk work is not scheduled unless Safety Critical, Production Critical and Environmental critical Fore log and Backlog are under control achieving zero safety critical Backlog by progressing P3/P6's as needed
* Ensure adequate resources are identified for preventive and corrective activity, if the resources are not in place the Work Order must not be progressed to a scheduled status
* Ensure work activities are coordinated to minimise plant downtime and optimise resources
* Responsible for striving to a schedule attainment performance of 100%, code and investigate all non-attained scheduled activities and define and manage improvement
* Ensure that CAP activities from the integrated activity plan are aligned in the CMMS Maximo site schedule
* Carry out daily updates to the site schedule using P6 and monitor progress and effectiveness
* Produce 28 day resource leveled and detailed site schedules for all site activities using CMMS Maximo and P6
* Manage the process of reviewing and agreeing the site 7 and 28 day schedules.
* Interface with Discipline Supervisors in execution of work orders/maintenance activities to understand progress and delays
* Ensure materials required for the weekly plan have been delivered to the platform
* Optimise vendor / specialist activities ensuring no mobilisations takes place where comprehensive work preparation is not complete and executable
* Interface with shutdown coordinator with regard to pre/post-shutdown activities and also shutdown specific critical activities, ensure that shut down work order have a shutdown coding in CMMS Maximo
* Lead daily YTT ( Yesterday / Today / Tomorrow ) performance review and prioritisation with maintenance and operations teams
* Continually monitor and report all Operational Excellence / Maintenance Scheduling Work Flows / KPI related business targets and capture any non-performance

The Company:
Our Client is an O&G exploration and production company based in Aberdeen who operate in the North Sea. They have interests in a large number of fields, the majority of which they operate, on the UK Continental Shelf with numerous offshore installations and one onshore terminal.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* N/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent competence assessment in core discipline

* Vast Experience of maintenance and operations planning and administration within the Oil & Gas industry
* Technical experience as a technician in an onshore or offshore facility
* Knowledge and experience of CMMS suitable Maximo and Primavera P6
* Knowledge in supply chain management and competence in spare parts inventory
* Knowledge of plant equipment and oil and gas production processes

Interpersonal Skills & Qualities
* Must be a team player and have a high degree of self-motivation
* Must be a good communicator at all routine organisation levels
* A self-starter who is pro-active and displays a strong sense of initiative, drive and energy
* Strong organisational skills with a particular eye for "attention to detail"
* Proven ability to manage a diverse range of activities and relationships; embraces change and continual improvement
