One Key Resources, part of the Fircroft Group, is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

One Key Resources are currently seeking an experienced Adminstration Assistant for a mine site in the Mudgee Region. Initially the position is a 6-month contract, however, there is potential to extend for the right candidate.

Duties include:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organise and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain and distribute contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements and organise payment
  • Order uniforms and liaise with suppliers
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Arrange visitor clothing and PPE
  • Provide general support to visitors and arrange catering as required
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Present well and have excellent phone manner. Will be face of the site and be the first person people meet!!
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, in particular)
  • Experience in learning new computer programs
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • SAP Experience Highly Desirable
  • Document Control Experience Highly Desirable
  • Current open drivers' licence
  • Willingness to complete Order 43 and D&A Screening
  • Proof of Australian working entitlement (e.g. birth certificate, passport or citizenship)
  • Available for an immediate start;
