One Key Resources, part of the Fircroft Group, is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

We are seeking a Project Management Lead to work at our clients head office based in Adelaide. This position will be initially for 12 months with the potential to go a little longer depending on the project demands.

Our client is a Tier 1 Mining contractor who requires skilled, experienced and safety minded individuals for ongoing opportunities.

Your main responsibilities in this role are as per below:

  • Support the implementation of the Project Information Management strategy in accordance with documented standards and procedures
  • Provide Information Management expertise across all Major Capital Projects in Development and Delivery
  • Lead the Project Information Management team
  • Develop team capabilities through effective leadership and training
  • Deputise for and provide support to the Manager Project Information Management when required
  • Ensure adherence to standards across all projects
  • Provide direction with counterparts from the EPC(M)s/External Contractors.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of Project Information Management procedures and work instructions

The qualifications/certifications and experience required include:

  • Ability to manage change with resilience
  • Ability to develop simple effective reporting structures
  • Ability to develop and map business processes and write documentation
  • In depth knowledge of engineering and vendor document control practices, and working knowledge of commercial document control, archiving and correspondence management
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications, including MSExcel
  • Knowledge of Aconex and the SmartPlant suite of tools including SmartPlant for Operations (SPO) will be an advantage
  • Be able to fly to site for 2/3 days at a time when required
  • Must be based in Adelaide
  • Available for the full duration of the contract period
