One Key Resources, part of the Fircroft Group, is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

Seeking an Experienced SAP Officer (Assets and Contractors) to work at an Open Cut Coal Mine in the Moorvale / Coppabella Area. You will be working with a Tier 1 Mining Contractor who requires skilled, experienced and safety minded individuals.

This position provides a key support function to the site by being responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of processes and registers for contractors and site assets.


  • Working with managers to ensure contractor management processes are followed
  • Development and maintenance of a site contractor register logging Job Coordinators and Contract Owners for each contracting company
  • Reporting on contractor actual vs forecast hours and total spend to determine if usage is in line with approvals
  • Auditing of contractor invoices against agreed rates and terms of Investigating and following up on any discrepancies on over billing or contract variations
  • Development and maintenance of a hire equipment register across site ensuring that information is kept up to date regarding off hire dates and rates and liaising with management to prevent overspending on hired equipment
  • Act as a point of contact for site vendors and contractor companies on invoice or purchase order queries and disputes
  • Systems and Reporting Improvements to deliver efficiencies across the business
  • Maintaining the hired equipment and light vehicle registers and providing stakeholders with information on best hire rates
  • Provide value adding analysis and reporting to senior management for contractor usage and spend to ensure best utilisation of contract resources.
  • Working with corporate supply chain management on upcoming contracts, acting as the site liaison with the process owners/managers on information required

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Mining Industry (desirable)
  • SAP or large ERP experience (desirable)
  • Tendering and sourcing knowledge and capability (desirable)
  • Bachelor of Business (Preference Accounting or Finance)
  • Knowledge of Warehouse, Procurement and Supply Chain activities
  • Process and systems improvements experience

Documents Required - Must Be Current:

  • Standard 11
  • Current Coal Board Medical
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Passport/Birth Certificate
  • Located locally
