One Key Resources, Fircroft Group, is a specialist provider of Managed Workforce and Labour Hire solutions to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Industries. An employer of choice, One Key Resources employs Open Cut and Underground Operators, Tradespeople and Support Staff at close to 100 locations across Australia.

Our Client is a leading Drilling Company with an International presence paving the way for Raisebore Drilling.

The SHEQ Officer will control, deliver and manage the safety, health, environmental and quality aspects for site operations for the companies' various clients. The ideal candidate will have SHEQ auditing experience as well as Underground Mining experience with an understanding of Drilling operations.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

  • Develop, implement and maintain SHEQ system in line with company and client standards
  • Implement standards, procedures and policies in line with client standards and legal requirements
  • Conduct SHEQ audits on sites / areas of responsibility
  • Advise and provide SHEQ guidance to management and project teams
  • Report and communicate all SHEQ related information to the SHEQ Manager and Contract Manager
  • Ensure the measurement, second verification and implementation of quality standards
  • Identify any SHEQ related risks and implement solutions ensuring operations are not affected or delayed

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • SHEQ Mining experience (Underground preferred)
  • Drilling experience
  • Risk Assessment Certificate
  • ISO 9001 (Implementation and Auditing) / ISO 14001(Implementation and Auditing)
  • OHSAS 18001(Implementation and Auditing)
  • Conversant with Mine Health and Safety Act & Occupational Health and safety Act
  • Incident and accident investigation
  • Risk assessment facilitation
  • Quality Management experience
  • NPC within 6 months

  • FIFO from WA OR NT
  • Long term project duration fixed term contract with A/L & P/L
  • 4x2 Roster currently due to COVID-19 (return to 2/1 after restrictions lifted)
