The Company:
Our client is a major leading oil and gas operator who has been involved in the development of Australia’s energy resources for over a century. They are heavily involved in the PNG LNG project is which one of the world’s largest resources projects to date.

The Role:
• Perform the stewardable administrative supervision and functional application of the following:
- Provision of camp accommodation, furnishings, equipment and maintenance services
- Provision of camp office space
- Provision of camp catering and janitorial services and related facilities services
• Ensure requirement for the provision of accommodation using both Company operated (owned/leased) facilities, approved commercial camps and related support services are met utilizing facilities, equipment & services which are in accordance with all Occupational Health, Security and Safety guidance
• Ensure that the provision of accommodation and subsistence related services such as site catering services are duly authorized by the appropriate approver prior to provision of such services
• Duly account for and verify all charges stemming for the provision of such accommodation and services including verification of rates charges, service periods and subsistence (meals & lodging and other associated charges)
• Effectively conduct and steward accommodation schedules and transit facilities assignment of accommodation to ensure effective utilization of Company owned/operated facilities
• Maintain communication with the Lead Logistics Coordinator toward the effective assignment of all visitor and/or transit personnel accommodation
• Ensure that all commercial camp rooms or other camp facilities (conference rooms, catering services, etc) are duly approved in advance and appropriately charged to the cost centre requesting such services
• Perform all PtP related activities regarding the provision of accommodation and/or subsistence support services (catering, conference room rental and associated services)
• Participate in annual fixed asset inventories for all Company owned or operated residential accommodation facilities when requested
• Third Party Management of contracted field catering services, to include contract interface management & coordination with contracted services/suppliers
• Periodic assessment of compliance by contractors/suppliers including safe work behaviours, contractor self-assessment and performance assessments
• Conducting site interface meetings and stewarding action plan closure(s)
• Steward and perform as the Field-Catering Steering Committee chairman.
• Incident Management by ensuring that Accident Investigation and Near-Miss reporting processes and procedures related to field catering services incidents/accidents are fully implemented and accurately complied with, that appropriate investigation processes are followed and performed to include determination of root cause analysis, and sharing of lessons learned to pre-empt re-occurrence or ensure improved work practices
• Interface with the Occupational Health and Medical department in conducting periodic performance assessment of catering contractor work-sites, commercial Camp facilities/services and Company owned/operated transit accommodation facilities
• Effectively coach, steward and regularly monitor/measure safety performance of the Field Catering Services Contractor(s) to ensure compliance expectations are maintained at and exceeding minimal expectations
• Ensure Logistics Integrity Management systems compliance
• Serve as the General Services department ‘Records Management Site Champion and Information Management & Protection Custodian' including maintaining all vital records and critical documents
• Ensure accommodation and subsistence support toward the response to emergencies and may assist Logistics Manager (General Services Superintendent) in activities necessary to support emergency response

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to interact in multi-cultural environment
• Experience of stewardship of small operations, projects or equivalent
• Accommodations Facilities Operations and Maintenance Practices
• Development and effective stewardship of expense budget and assignment of cost
• Security awareness and application of RMI/IMPS principles incorporating concepts into document retention and protection practices
• Good organizational skills and Operations planning experience
• Good business judgment and decision making skills
• Willingness to work in remote, changing environment

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
