The Company:
Our client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions the transmission and distribution industry

The Role:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Account Manager / Sales Professional who has experience of selling technical solutions within an industrial environment. The successful candidate will be required to sell their project portfolio to a variety of clients and seek new opportunities for additional sales of robots and systems to improve their growth strategy. The role will be predominately be homebased however the successful candidate must be flexible in terms of travelling across the UK as and when required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

- Drive the business development plan by increasing order volume.
- Work closely with the Engineering teams to help develop proposals
- Writing technical documents for presentation to customers
- Assisting with technically innovative projects as defined by the customer
- Applying commercial reasoning to technical solutions servicing customer current/future needs
- Proactively approach various companies to promote the use of my clients’ products

This is an urgent requirement and therefore candidates who are able to demonstrate high levels of motivation and have the right characteristics to strengthen their team and support their ambitious growth plans within this specialist market will be seriously considered.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- HNC in a relevant Engineering qualification
- Strong Negotiation skills
- Good communication skills
- Background in Automation would be preferred
