The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Sales Account Manager for a permanent position based in Norway

Fundamental Requirements:

Salary & Bonus- TBC
To Manage the Sales Territory and the sale of products and Services to achieve agreed orders and sales projections to the market in a defined region of Norway. If and when needed also to support customers in other regions
To undertake direct sales activities plus undertake collaborative activities with the organisation in Norway
RESPONSIBILITIES:
None direct reports
Financial/Budget Responsibility:
Regional projection, sales expenses and ancillary promotion and marketing costs
Experience in Industrial sales environment
Ability to analyse and present commercial technical and information concisely
Personnel management experience preferred
MAIN DUTIES:
Regional Management:
Preparing regional projections in line with the requirements of the Norwegian Business Plan
Developing and implementing a sales tactical plan to achieve these projections
Drive regular business/training meetings and attend business meetings
Ensure activities in field (3 - 4 days)
Drive annual price rises, drive gross margins, DSOs and other KPIs
Ensuring the effectiveness in achieving the sales projections
Establishing good relationships with key customers at all levels.
Negotiating terms of supply agreements with customers.
Monitoring and reporting progress towards achieving projections and other divisional or industry activity.
Undertake regular performance reviews and agree personal performance targets and a training plan
Territory Management:
To undertake independent sales calls
To provide technical support and market knowledge to the customers and prospects
To do joint visits to customers with Sub Dealer staff will play a major part in building relationships within the territory.
To work closely with other sales groups on an agreed programme of accompanied customer calls to meet strategic and tactical objectives. To complete and submit contact analysis report for all sales activities.
Attend as required exhibitions/mini exhibitions
Agree support programme and action plan for designated Key Accounts
Ensure that the Sub Dealer key sales people in territory have appropriate product knowledge and training to present and sell company products. Perform local training on an ongoing basis as required.
Set up, as required product training programmes on a regional basis in agreement with the team in Norway.
Attend and update Regional Sales/Tactical Plans at review meetings as required
To respond quickly and efficiently to customers' enquiries
To communicate regularly all pertinent information to the Process Sales Management
To Promote as required and requested, new products in the territory in accordance with Sales & Marketing strategy
Either personal or in cooperation with a sub dealer to identify, influence and build relationships with key customers in territory
To use these relationships in improving our position within by both raising awareness of companies products and creating sales, along with generating the required company brand image across the target market.
To increase our knowledge of competitor position and activities through close contact with the key customers within the territory.
OTHER DUTIES:
To participate in and support activities associated with company objectives.
To maintain a professional standard of personal grooming and dress.
To complete journey plans and appointments in Lotus Notes Calendar. At least one week in advance and preferably two weeks.
To complete trip reports on a daily basis on key visits and distribute within 48 hours of the call being made.
To attend Process Business Meetings, as required.
To maintain an adequate stock of up-to-date promotional literature and samples, due recognition being taken of current delivery times
To work within the expense budget.
To telephone promptly and accurately with any COR's that may be reported.
To maintain all company property in a clean and usable condition.
To complete expenses in accordance with the current guidelines.
To report promptly any information pertaining to other sales territories

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Must be able to Speak Norwegian
Three-year undergraduate programme in engineering.
Preferably 4 years in a Technical Sales position
Miscellaneous: (eg must be prepared to work unsociable hours, do shift work, hold a current driving licence, have a passport, be prepared to travel abroad, etc)
Norwegian Driving Licence.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Self-motivated and the ability to use initiative.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Danish language skill would be advantageous
