The Company:
Our Client is a global Oil & Gas Operating Company

The Role:
Our client has a requirement for an Accounting Specialist with Gas Plant experience to work out of their Houston location.

This position is reponsible for the allocation of Gas Plant Products, Volumes and Values accounting and reporting of financial information relating to existing gas plant activities.

Currently there are two very significant projects you would be supporting.

This role involves the collaboration with various operations, marketing, commercial and joint venture business partners as well as external customers who may include processors, purchasers or sellers of the produced residue gas and ngl's.

This position requires a pro-active self starting individual who is able to work independently with good decision making skillsm while interpreting and analyzing information surrounding the recognition, delivery, processing and allocation of all volumes handled at each plant. This position requires a team player who maintains high standards of excellence and strong attention to detail.

Roles/Responsibilities: -
- Perform monthly plant volumes and revenue allocations, process PPA's as necessary
- Maximise the use of Quorum TIPS gas plant accounting sofgtware and SAP PRA Systems
- Prepare monthly volumes estimate and actualization of same
- Ensure new well hook-ups and changes to existing wells and networks are reported in an accurate and timely manner
- Respond to JV Partner and audit queries as required
- Interact with Gas Plant Operations, Commercial, Marketing & Gas Measurement to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of gas processing contracts and processes
- Strong knowledge of gas processing accounting and reporting principles
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Expert level knowledge of Quorum TIPS software and working knowledge of SAP PRA
- Ability to achieve expectations and requirements for work quality and productivity.
- Proven knowledge of best practice and process improvement mindset.
