The Company:

The Role:
Cash and Bank Accounting
• Record cash transactions including money transfer, interest receipts, Cash Call receipts, and account receivable receipts.
• Collect Bank statements in order to prepare bank account reconciliations.
• Reconcile Cash Account with cash every month and pass necessary entries and confirm to customers in order to ensure payments are processed smoothly and on time.
Intercompany Accounting
• Review and record actual and accrual of intercompany recharge transactions.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations.
• Issue intercompany invoices/debit notes/credit notes and supporting documents in order to prepare intercompany settlement (including related VAT) appropriately.
Revaluation of Accounts
• Prepare and record revaluation of cash in foreign currencies on a month-end basis.
• Handling and monitoring the automated revaluation process of other foreign currencies accounts in balance sheets on a month-end basis.
Recording of VAT receivables
• Prepare the Journal Entries which provided by AP Accountant to transfer refundable VAT from VAT receivables account to AR Revenue department.
• Record cash receipt of refunded VAT from Revenue department.
Adjusting Transactions
• Adjust any errors in recording transactions made by other non accounting departments
• Ensure all transactions are posted accurately in a timely manner in accordance to the company to make information available at all times.
Reconciliation and Validation of Financial Statements
• Prepare reconciliation of the accounts in order to ensure the validity of the financial statements.

• Provide information as requested to external auditors, JV Partner Auditors and External Auditors.
• Ensure the conformity of data so that it meets the requirements of external auditors to ensure that any queries are answered in a prompt and efficient manner and provide adequate supporting documents as requested.
Statement of Expenditure to Department of Mineral and Fuel
• Prepare quarterly and annually the statement of expenditure for Department of Mineral and Fuel in order to comply with statutory regulations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications and requirements:
• University Bachelor degree in Accounting and / or finance with a good knowledge of accounting procedures, protocols and guidelines.
• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas environment
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in the accounting field (GL) in the Oil and Gas industry
• Auditing background is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• MS Office especially MS Excel and application accounting software (Oracle)
• Communications skills in English
• Fast learning
