The Role:
The Functional Scheduler (NWD/Drilling/Completions) reports to the Activity Planning Functional Team Leader (APFTL) and is responsible for generating high quality, deliverable schedules for the Drilling & Completions (D&C) Function in the 8Q, 12 week and 6 week windows, ensuring that they are aligned to business priorities and foster safe, reliable area operations. The Functional Scheduler (NWD/Drilling/Completions) ensures that the D&C functional schedule within Primavera is up to date and accurate, and works with SPAs and other stakeholders to ensure that activities meet the relevant gate criteria, and are deliverable within the constraints of the function.

Key accountabilities
•Deliver optimised functional 8Q, 12 week and 6 week schedules that are integrated across the area.
•Ensure that 8Q, 12 week and 6 week functional schedules for the D&C function are fully populated, resource levelled and deliverable within function constraints.
•Recommend which activities to execute or reschedule when the activity set exceeds functional constraints.
•Effectively manage changes to D&C functional schedules.
•Communicate the agreed schedules to functions personnel.
•Support the identification and resolution of delivery risks, resource conflicts, emergent work and schedule waivers. Support schedule gatekeepers in assessment of schedule waiver requests.
•Apply specific Primavera capabilities in support of the D&C function.
•Monitor site execution efficiency: Update progress on functional activities in Primavera on a weekly basis. Highlight slippage in the schedule and propose actions to recover.
•Review site execution efficiency AP KPI performance with the APFTL, functional leaders and functional teams.
•Drive continuous improvement in functional scheduling performance.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education
•A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Essential experience and job requirements
•Working knowledge of planning and scheduling tools and Microsoft Excel.
•Good communication and influencing skills.
•Strong bias for action, anticipating future situations and planning ahead to meet challenges.
•Personal understanding and commitment to HSSE.

Desirable criteria and qualifications
•Experience and understanding of oil and gas or similar scale of industry.
•Experience in the use of Primavera scheduling software.
•Drilling and Completions operations experience.
•Experience in New well delivery projects.
