The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Chassis Vehicle Quality CAE Performance Engineer
Use of multi-body system analysis tool (Simpack) to assess and optimise axle systems to deliver vehicle level performance targets.
Work closely with the Vehicle Dynamics CAE & development teams, using common methods and techniques to ensure axle and corner models are compatible with their whole vehicle models, using a consistent approach


Should have a good working knowledge of chassis systems and a good understanding of suspension K&C characteristics.
Good mathematical skills backed by a sound understanding of engineering principles and the ability to initiate and deliver technique and process improvements when required.
Expert user of MBS code (either ADAMS or Simpack) to deliver the system level targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent communication and team working skills.
Proficient user of primarily ADAMS or Simpack software- typically 2+ years of use in an automotive setting

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to present complex data / results to non-experts
Experience of working within Vehicle Dynamics and analysis & use of K&C data.
