Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
The role of ADAS Module Project Engineer (MPE) is based within the ADAS Systems & Subsystems Engineering group in Electrical Engineering (Gaydon Site). The MPE is responsible for Programme transactions within the Module Team, meeting all defined targets and attributes (Technical and Commercial, Cost, Quality & Time). Responsible for execution of Module related deliverables on programmes and reporting on status at relevant gateways. Including: Programme specific coordination of all activities to ensure reliable delivery of the Module targets on behalf of the CoC Agree programme specific targets for Quality, Cost & Time are compatible across the module. Accept and monitor the cascaded programme investment, vendor tooling, D&D, piece costs. Support the Programme Management Team cadence and deliver robust accurate Module metrics as required. Cascade forward planning metrics to Lead Engineers and achieve alignment across the Module on delivery commitments. Manage the delivery of all AIMS and escalate sev4 or RED to the relevant governance forums. Are the first point of contact for specific Module issues on programmes. Facilitate cross-functional interactions where required, support and reinforce module team working ethos ¿ Validation of targets created in the strategy phase to ensure they can be delivered robustly (APC to Programme delivery) ¿ Verify Product Description Letters (PDLs) & manage them into delivery, as appropriate ¿ Drive alignment of process and documentation within the AML teams.

3. A good working knowledge of PCDS, Change Control, Product Definition and Change Management processes are essential.
Experience Required: "The successful applicant will need the following skills and qualifications: Experience in Automotive Engineering. Experience in Driver Assistance Systems or comparable complex systems (eg Infotainment, Chassis Control, Powertrain). Experience in program/project management. Experience with tools such as MS Project, Sharepoint, able to produce synthetic information and scorecards. Strong oral and written communication & IT skills. Highly disciplined, analytical and self-committed. Driven by passion for the automotive product. UK Driving license or equivalent"
Experience Preferred: "Understanding of Quality methods, Standard Problem definition, 8D, 5W, ' not mandatory, but would be a plus: FMEA. Six Sigma Green Belt qualification desirable.Previous experience with Product Development standards is desirable. Experience with real time control systems design"
