The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
• Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment.
• Support HSE&SR initiatives and strategy and demonstrate total commitment to HSE&SR.
• Comply with all relevant Nexen processes and procedures.
• Apply business improvement techniques to enhance business processes and administration processes
• Co-ordination of interal meetings (outlook booking system)
• Co-ordination external meetings/conferences
• Meetings - preparation of agendas, attend meetings, record actions - collate output from meeting
• Document management utilising Livelink /version control
• Travel arragements for Team Leads and offshore as required
• Support to team initiatives/ other projects as required
• Procurement of PPE for onshore/offshore
• Preparation of spreadsheets, graphs, presentations.
• Maintain departmental records – vacation/sickness
• Update and maintain organisation charts
• Preparation of service entries and purchase requisitions in SAP
• Internal/external communications; all internal departments,
• Work with enterprise IT systems such as Action Base, LEHS, SAP and Livelink.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven intermediate standard IT packages – Work, Excel, SAP and documentat management system

• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• E&P business understanding.
• Awareness of relevant UK oil and gas industry regulations.
• Familiar with quality processes and the application of continuous improvement tools
• SAP Exposure – requisitioning and service entries
• Experience with Livelink or similar document management system using version control
• Experience with diary management
• Highly effective relationship-builder internally and externally
• Ability to work in a fast moving, customer focused environment whilst maintaining the highest ethical integrity.
• Ability to understand and react with diverse groups and operations on and offshore
• Computer literacy required on Windows based applications – Word, excel. powerpoint
