The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of an Administrative Assistant in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
CONTRACT DETAILS
A three month contract assignment to provide support and administrative services to the Vice President and External Affairs' team to help with the high volume. Pay will depend on experience.

SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will support the Vice President and External Affairs' team executing administrative duties, including reconciliation of expense reports and process payments. The employee will also be responsible for maintaining and coordinating meetings, conferences, telecommunications, calendars, and files.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide administrative services to the External Affairs' team
• Establish and maintain files for External Affairs' filing system
• Reconciliation of expense reports and process payments
• Administrator for Group Donations through External Affairs
• Compose letters, memos, presentations, and general correspondence with timeliness and accuracy
• Manage calendar and appointments of Vice President. Also maintain calendars for Development Coordinator and Operations Supervisor
• Organize e-mail messages for Vice President.
• Sorting, distribution and handling of incoming mail and faxes as well as screening and handling of telephone calls
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed in their clerical needs.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and responsibilities and work well under pressure

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
At least five years experience as an Administrative Assistant with computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
