The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.
The Role:
They currently require an experience Administrator to cover maternity leave for 12 months.
Main purpose of job:
To provide administrative/project support, including reception duties and document control based on the Sellafield site involved in "blue collar" decommissioning operations.
Duties:
Responsible for providing a welcoming, professional and knowledgeable reception function.
Responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining all 'blue collar' project document control requirements including archiving on project completion. Archiving includes recording review dates and acting upon review dates when due.
Responsible for completing pass request forms and submission to relevant authority.
Raising Standard and Procurement orders on the Agresso system relating to the relevant projects.
Producing Excel spreadsheets for financial tracking as and when required.
Accurate typing and preparation of documentation (reports, method statements, risk assessments etc) to tight deadlines.
Accurate preperation for invoicing.
Order office stationery.
Responsible for operatives training including booking training courses, maintaining training records and ensuring refreshers are undertaken as requirements.
Knowledge of activities and areas of expertise required to direct customer/internal enquiries to correct person without delay.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
O Level/GCSE (A-C) /Equiv in 5 subjects including English Language and Maths (proof to be provided at interview).
RSA III Word Processing.
Working knowledge of Access databases and document control.
Willingness to be flexible and able to work as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Applicants will need to go through security clearance to commence work.
Knowledge of the requirements for carrying out work on the Sellafield site.
Experience of Excel spreadsheets.
