The Role:
Responsibilities:
•Optimize spend for goods and services based on the delivery of value to the organization. Collaborate with WWD&C and Production Operations to develop and execute spend strategies based on technical requirements, HES compliance, market intelligence and commercial opportunities.
•Effectively communicate with clients, suppliers and GP teams relying on strong interpersonal and writing skills.
•Manage customer and supplier relations and expectations to maximize value creation.
•Evaluate and negotiate commercial arrangements and resolve issues arising from commercial activities.
•Maintain focus on continuous improvement, continuous learning and application of new technology.
•Responsible to keep GP Supply Chain Management abreast on direction of projects and to ensure collaboration with team members.
•Experience with cross functional teams, as well as established familiarity with the contract management, project management, negotiation, and economic analysis process.
•Develop aggressive work goals that are strategic in nature.
•Must be a dynamic self starter who works collaboratively, is results oriented, and driven by continuous improvement and learning.
•Have a solid understanding of SAP MM.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
•Degree: Bachelors Required
•Major: Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or Engineering
•Computer Proficiencies: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. SAP MM experience is a plus.
•Certifications: A C.P.S.M. or APICS certification or the desire to pursue such is a plus.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Work Experience:
oMinimum of 5 years experience
oA procurement/technical background in operations, drilling and completions, ability to negotiate commercial agreements, as well as familiarity with contracts and commercial terms, ability to draft solid contractual agreements, project management and economic analysis is required.
oExperience in relationship management and/or vendor management preferred.
