Large international exploration & production company.

The Role:
OVERVIEW:

The position will maintain significant interaction with Asset Team members, Project personnel, Completion contractors and Drilling personnel.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, hard working, with good problem solving capabilities. He/she also should have a determination for continuous improvement. Occasional overseas travel may be required to help support local needs. Offshore travel will be required to oversee well operations during subsea activity.
This position will structurally report through the WW Completion Manager, but may report to specific Project Team supervision or Drilling/Completion Superintendent.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop technical christmas tree specifications, RFQ’s (procurement assistance), and provide recommendations based on technical evaluations.
Prepare technical valve specifications for subsea manifolds or PLET/PLEMs.
Manage design/build process of tree with vendor.
Perform interface engineering between tree, controls, and IWOCS, and SSTT vendors during design and manufacturing.
Write SIT plans for integration with tree, controls, DHPT, IWS, IWOCS, ROV vendors and installation contractor. Organize and supervise SIT.
Identify and manage spares and consumables for SIT and installation.
Prepare tree installation procedures and provide offshore support during implementation.
Perform offshore support for installation of IWOCS, TH, and ITC and testing of subsea tree after completion installation.
Assist in procuring ROV tools required for installation and completion.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree: Bachelors required

Major Discipline: Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering

Computer Proficiencies: Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word & Excel, SAP

Work Experience: Minimum of five years engineering experience, preferably subsea infrastructure related. Offshore well operational experience is preferred. Equipment manufacturing experience is a plus.

Travel: Requires occasional travel overseas. Requires travel to offshore locations.
