The Role:
TASE Development Engineer

Thermal & Aerodynamic System Engineer (TASE) to undertake analytical, vehicle and/or development and sign-off testing of engine cooling performance and total vehicle thermal management for Commercial Vehicles.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years development experience within the automotive industry.
* Knowledge of any of the following CAE codes, and their automotive applications would be a distinct advantage - 'RadTherm', 'UH3D'.
* Deveopment systems - WERS, eFDVS, GPDS, AIMS - also a distinct advantage.
* Working knowledge of heat transfer and fluid flow theory.
* Good oral and written communication skills required.
* Wide range of PC skills, MS applications, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project and Outlook.
* B.Eng / B.Sc (2:1 or higher) Degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aeronautical Engineering, or related engineering discipline. Experience may be considered over education.

Will be required to be flexible about covering testing after 4pm up to 11pm occasionally. May be required to participate in overseas 'in-territory' climatic development and sign-off trips. Able to travel and spend time away from home 3-4 weeks, once or twice per year. Full UK or international driving license required, p

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Good team player & communicator.
* Must be self motivated, confident enough to take responsibilities for own actions and able to work without direct supervision.
* M.Sc./M.Eng. beneficial. Experience may be considered over education in some circumstances.
