Our client, a diverse Canadian Energy Company, plans new developments estimated at $12+ Billion over the next 5 years.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. Residents of Newfoundland & Labrador will be given first consideration for this position.

The Role:
Currently seeking an Air Transportation Coordinator / Administrator to ensure supervision and coordination of all Project air transportation activities considering all necessary vigilance regarding safety, budget and accuracy, with compliance with norms, laws, rules in place and project goals.


As an Air Transportation Coordinator / Administrator your main duties will involve:
• You’ll plan, organize and control all tasks related to project air transportation services in collaboration with air charter supplier, helicopters suppliers, contractors, sites and Project team.
• You will receive general direction from the Office and Administrative Services Coordinator, but be expected to demonstrate a high degree of personal initiative in carrying out his/her duties and responsibilities.
• Day-to-day administration of Contract SM0709 – Air Transportation;
• Ensure adequate coordination with the air transportation suppliers;
• Supervise all activities related to people air transportation, their luggage and all air freight within charter flights, commercial flights and helicopter flights;
• Plan and prepare chartered flight schedules and special transportation programs relating to workers demobilization and mobilization;
• Coordinate chartering planes between supplier and users and ensure operational and contractual follow-up of chartered planes and helicopters;
• Ensure coordination of ground transportation of general supplies;
• Participate in the preparation of budgets and business plans and control all costs related to transportation activities;
• Follow-up and report on contractor and internal KPI’s on a monthly basis.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As an Air Transportation Coordinator / Administrator you will have experience:
• Experience in air transportation would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in air services management and operations, flight operation laws, airport and heliport infrastructures, chartered schedule preparation and ground transportation of general supplies would be an advantage but not essential.
• Prior experience in contract administration for chartering arrangements;
• Be available to travel frequently within Newfoundland and Labrador for business purposes.
• Self-starter, who identifies priority tasks, puts plans in place to complete, and delivers;
• Holds a valid Class 5 driver’s license;
