The Role:
• Responsible for the operation and completion of the installation allocation using the current selected system. Act as the primary contact point for the field partners, the DTI, Shipping, Finance, Traders, Environmental and Commercial on all issues associated with Measurement and shipping as required.
• The focal point for the installation personnel for allocation and reporting issues.
• Ensure that the installation allocation complies with the current governance agreements.
• Act as the primary contact point for IT support for the Allocation system and represent the business line in IT support and development of Allocation system.
• Responsible for monitoring and verifying of the measurement system data for the installations.
• Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions that facilitate installation allocation operations
• Responsible for maintaining a standardised controls environment
• Responsible for maintaining, developing and improving verification checks on measurement/allocation data
• Reponsible for development and control of mass balance models for the assets.
• Monitor and progress to close any group audit/special review/risk assessment data points.
• Provide contingency cover for other Allocation group members as required.
• Represent the business line in commercial discussions and technical meetings around new field inputs and users.
• Focal point for the installation mismeasurements / misallocations in conjunction with the Allocation coordinator.
• Tasks will be assigned from time to time with the agreement of the line manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of measurement systems and relevant measurement industry standards
• Working knowledge of offshore production processes
• Experience in interpreting commercial agreements and familiarity with regulatory production reporting requirements
• Well developed interpersonal, organisational and communication skills required, excellent numerical skills essential
• Significant previous experience in a similar position
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and a keen eye for detail are essential
• Must be able to work as part of a team but should also demonstrate ability to work on own initiative
