The Company:
Our Client, one the worlds largest energy companies forms a unique venture in partnership with one of the largest US Chemical Companies. This unprecedented venture will create the largest chemical complex ever built in the world in a single phase.

The Role:
Provide analytical and engineering support for process analyzers and set up of new analyzer systems; monitor the performance of analyzers, specify analyzers operational parameters, sample conditioning system, and Calibration methods. Provide focused technical support for analyzer technicians performing all routine & non routine maintenance activities. Conduct process analyzers improvement studies, set up & manage process analyzers documentation systems.
1.Provide input for process analyser review and justification process; identify, set up, and implement new analytical techniques for process analysers.
2.Evaluate design packages & technical specifications, and confirm analytical techniques and sample handling system needs for new analyser systems.
3.Monitor the performance of process analysers utilizing available statistical tools to ensure real time data reliability and accuracy; coordinate and lead process analysers performance studies.
4.Specify analyser systems to meet unit measurement specification requirements utilizing the latest technology with lowest long-term cost of ownership.
5.Ensure the full implementation and utilization of Analysers Information Management System (AIMS).
6.Define and procure process analysers calibration, and validation reference material and ensure availability of process analysers spare parts.
7.Specify analyser shelter, climate control, safety interlocks, data communications, sample point locations, and implement safety practices inside analyser houses.
8.Evaluate performance of process analysers Sample Conditioning Systems, and implement engineering solutions to address sample integrity and sample flow problems.
9.Define analyser utility and heat trace requirements, and selects materials of construction.
10.Develop, monitor, and maintain process analyser’s documentation system.
11.Lead process analyser’s major maintenance, and troubleshooting activities including making the decisions for process analysers’ shutdowns, and start-up; identify and communicate problems and propose solutions.
12.Evaluate and approve analyser system drawings and authorize fabrication of analyser systems.
13.Work with Chemo-metricians to set up and update NIR models and participate in international Process analysers meetings, and publish technical reports.
14.Ensure proper project documentation, and provide information for early project cost estimates and timelines.
15.Participate in Factory Acceptance Test for new analysers; work with experts, facilitate testing of new equipment and new technology for correct application of the technology.
16.Participate in commissioning teams for the installation of new process analysers, and issue the Certificates of Completions.
17.Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/ manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering Technology, Electronics or any relevant field.
•Analyzer Technician Certification program.
•Engineer IV - Professional Fresh Graduate Entry level (GC10)
•Engineer III - 3 Years of experience in the field of Process Analyzers/ Process Chemistry (GC 11)
•Engineer II - 5-10 Years of experience in the field of Process Analyzers Systems (GC 12)
•Engineer I - 10- 15 Years of experience in the field of Process Analyzers Systems (GC13)
