The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
To deliver UPS electrical test sequences to ensure successful implementation of project & model year programmes into production. Working closely with engineering and quality to resolve all issues during pre-series phases identifying build story and delivering to takt. To ensure all CMP/CIP electrical test issues are resolved working in line with PEP010 & PEP004.

1) Process Flow (LIne/EOL/Sub Assembly) inc EHPV - Responsible for the identification, development & validation of test sequences (within takt) for all project and Model Year programmes (including CIP activities)

2) FAZIT - Responsible for the co-ordination of all group activities/ updates ensuring system knowledge to allow for updates to FAZIT servers/ UPS connections, MySQL inc. ping/pong/pang, FAZIT online system, development of alignment rigs, checking power class & dummy VIN's. Act as deputy for Ant-Theft Steering Group.

3) General Opertation/Core System Architecture inc IT inc interfaces - Understands how all systems interact and their architecture including Prodis systems, wireless MFT's UPS server/ architecture, IP addresses etc. Ensuring the interfaces to FIS channels, online FIS channels, WAM, Rolling Road, Fluid Fill, ICS are supported.

4) Electrical Design For Manufacture - Responsible for the identification of all production test issues and Root Cause Analysis through the concerns management process. Use design reviews to ensure manufacturing feasibility issues are presented and escalated within the business.

5) Responsible for ensuring the development and application of the new technology and techniques by identifying and contributing where appropriate with the introduction of new technology and techniques in the support of deliverables.


Responsible for the throughput of vehicles within production and pre-series through control of UPS test systems.

Analytical thinking to support the drive of increased Electrical RFT throughout production against agreed targets.
