The Role:
JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for Actual Parts and Accessories (P&A), Stamping parts, and vehicle inventory transactions for both GM Thailand and GM Power-Train; including tasks requested by the manager


JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Main responsibilities are to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate inputs on vehicle and part inventory, including stamping part at both plant and outside warehouse locations through monitoring, and analysis for both GM Thailand and GM Power-Train

Daily Supporting:
• Monitoring/reviewing inventory transaction, and working with Global Supply Chain (GSC) to solve any issues arise
• Monitoring transactions among the Product Cost systems (MGO-A, MGO-C, and WPCS) and solve issues that arise (if any)
• Checking all material receipt & Issue for productive material for P&A, vehicle, and Stamping inventory

Monthly Activities:
• Maintaining Standard rate/cost in the WPCS inventory system
• Preparing and closing all month-end transactions for Finished Vehicles, Stamping Parts, Productive materials, As require & Inbound
• Reviewing indirect chemical consumption for accrual set up
• Reviewing and preparing journal entry (JE) to book for Cost of Production, Cost of Sale, Variances from Standard Cost vs. Actual Cost, Scrap, Other contribution cost, Over/Under Absorb Inbound, tooling, labor & burden
• Setting up obsolescence provision
• Performing Lower of Cost or Market (LCM) analysis and record the entry (if any)
• Performing Accounts Reconciliation for all inventory accounts
• Preparing monthly all type of Company used Vehicle Aging report

Other Activities:
• Supporting Ad-hoc requested by the manager
• Supporting the external auditor as required
• Supporting Physical Inventory Count
• Monitoring consignment inventory

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge:
- Bachelor Degree: Accounting
- Master Degree: MBA, Master Degree in Finance or Accounting from accredited oversea or Thai universities
- Solid understanding of Financial Statement analysis, and Corporate Finance

Skill:
- Good understanding of Inventory and Cost Accounting
- Good level of analytical skill – able to independently analyze problems
- Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or audit field (in related areas); preferably with a multinational or international company. Experience with an international audit firm is a plus.
- Powerful user of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (functions like V-lookup and linking files)
- Ability and willingness to learn SAP financial modules and GM Product Cost systems. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
