The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to process sales enquiries & generate customer proposals & tenders covering both water and gas analytical products

Key duties will include:

• Liaising with Field Sales Engineers to ensure the accurate generation of quotations including content & pricing.
• Working closely with technical & application experts within the European Feeder Factories to ensure technical accuracy within the tender.
• Act as the first line of contact for UK support across tenders including dealing with all direct customer enquiries
• Prepare all product & systems costings & prices in line with internal office procedures.
• Maintain the existing enquiry/quotation database & enquiry handling procedures including; Bid/No Bid & risk review screening.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Relevant mechanical/electrical/instrumentation engineering qualification to HNC standard.
• Previous sales/proposals experience in an Analytical or Instrumentation business operating in the process industries.
• Literate/experienced in using MS Word, Exel, Powerpoint
• A strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Good telephone manner & at ease in a highly customer facing environment.
• Able to prioritise work & meet deadlines.
