The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.

The Role:
Job Purpose:

Lead the Analytical Science & Technology team in implementing the most effective tools to maintain process reliability and ensure product quality.
Functional Duties
(up to 15)
1. Plan, organize and provide analytical/technical support for various projects.

2. Contribute to the technical development of the analytical team in the areas of method development and capability building.

3. Provide technical data for assessing the technical feasibility of modification projects or new projects. Give advice, guidelines and instructions on process aspects of the functions supported.

4. Responsible for ensuring that the laboratory deliver accurate and timely analytical results according to the agreed plan and service level agreement.

5. Actively participate in safety and environmental improvement programs through new studies.

6. Support the development of new techniques and / or equipment that will address issues being encountered.

7. Establish and maintain proactive collaboration with the plant operation, engineering and quality personnel.

8. Leverage resources and participate in cross functional teams to support site analytical organization.

9. Ensure the team’s compliance with all the company’s environmental health and safety regulations and participate in investigating work incidents/accidents.

10. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor / manager.

Managerial Duties:
(up to 5)
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day work performed by the Division staff.

2. Ensure all tasks and activities are performed in accordance with Sadara’s policies and procedures.

3. Assess the current skill set of employees and identify the need for developmental programs.

4. Motivate, coach, develop and support respective employees.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or any relevant field.

Professional Experience (minimum)
• Thirteen (13) years of experience in technical or plant-related role.
• Two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role.
