The Role:
Liaise with AI Supervisor for the due and backlog in-service inspection work of fixed static equipment e.g. Piping, Heat Exchanger, Fired heater, unfired pressure vessel and tank.
Review previous inspection reports in Visions 4 then survey for additional scaffolding, Insulation removal, PFP removal, deck penetration removal etc.
Discuss with SME if additional inspection are required from original ITP (Special NDE, additional TML points, Profile RT, etc.) to ensure Fit for Purpose, as necessary.
Assist AI Team develop ITP for new equipment, as requested
API inspector is responsible for ensuring that all the required Inspection and Test Plans are prepared, and issue to AI Rep for consideration within a reasonable period prior to commencing the work described in the Plan. SME shall be consulted when any work scope is deviated from working procedure.
Co-ordinate with AI Supervisor for overall day-to-day Inspection work management with required priorities and available resources.
Manage NDT Examiners team for in-service inspection of Piping, Flowline, Pressure vessel, Heat Exchangers, Fired heaters and Tank.
Participate during RBI Assessment at Bangkok office
Responsible for quality, accuracy and corrective of inspection work
Ensure HES of AI Team.
Review and ensure corrective of inspection findings.
Confirm and cross check sizing of anomaly defects indications by two alternative NDE methods.
Provide recommendation for each Anomaly reports
Ensure completion of in-service inspection work as recommended by API Inspection Code and additional Company’s requirements.
Submit Inspection reports and anomaly reports via Visions 4, within 1 day after work completion.
Responsible for correctiveness and completeness of Inspection reports.
Co-ordinate with SME for each anomaly findings.
Monthly audit and ensure quality of in-service inspection work (Equipment, procedure, calibration, certificates, scope expansion, defect mapping, safety, etc).

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Certified for API 510 and API 570 Inspector and have experience more than 5 years.
Certified by ASNT, EN, ISO or PCN for Visual inspection and General NDE Level II
Familiarize with Piping design code ASME B 31.3 and Pressure vessel design code ASME VIII
Good command in English and have TOEIC score more than 500
Able to use Microsoft office.
