The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Our client is currently recruiting for an Application Support Coordinator, based in Perth and reporting to the Application Support Team Lead. The primary function of this permanent position is ensuring the expanding applications portfolio utilised in the production environment is effectively managed.
Applications Support Coordinators are accountable for production support contracts associated with production fixes, enhancements and the handover to support of project work. This role also provides the delivery governance addressing the day-to-day operational processes such as application performance, service level agreements, user satisfaction and liaising with the operations support group over incidents, problems, configuration, capacity and availability.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure the activities of applications services providers are delivered to contractual obligations
• Improve the quality of business interaction for application services
• Lead and oversee the movement of applications in to and out of IM&T portfolios
• Establish governance mechanisms that ensure vendor expenditure aligns with financial management processes including budgetary controls

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key skills and experience include:
• Degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of application maintenance and support services including experience in improving reliability and efficiently changing application functionality.
• Experience in contract negotiations including establishment of SLAs and providing oversight of service providers
• Strong Configuration Management Data Base process and toolset experience
• Exposure to Service Management toolset configuration for defining application services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully partner with vendor account managers, project managers and customers.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, work independently and under pressure
