The Company:
My client is recognised around the globe for its dedication to manufacturing specialist materials for a variety of industry sectors, this global business has been built upon delivering technical excellence and high standards of customer service to niche markets around the globe

The Role:
The Client is ideally looking for a graduate with experience in Power or High voltage Engineering / applications to provide technical support to a variety of clients. The role will be predominately office based however the successful candidate must be flexible in terms of travelling overseas as and when required.

The Client is looking for candidates who will participate in project deliveries with responsibility for electrically biased engineering solutions which revolve around R&D. Experience of writing technical papers, reports, presentations and specifications would be advantageous. The candidate would also be involved in/lead product innovations and developments, leading to new products or new product applications

Daily responsibilities will include:

- Handling technical enquiries via email and telephone in a timely manner.
- Writing technical documents for presentation to customers & conferences
- Assisting with technically innovative projects as defined by the customer
- Applying commercial reasoning to technical solutions servicing customer current/future needs
- Proactively approach various companies and universities to promote the use of my clients’ products

This is an urgent requirement and therefore candidates who are able to demonstrate high levels of motivation and have the right characteristics to strengthen their team and support their ambitious growth plans within this specialist market will be seriously considered.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or closely related subject.
- Experience of working within a technical support environment.
- Proven track record of communicating technical issues with customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Full eligibility to work in the UK
