The Company:
Our global leading client is seeking highly skilled, experienced & capable contract international employees to work on a large multinational complex oil & gas project.

The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Appraisal Project Manager in accordance with Client, Region Group and Caspian Region policies and procedures, manage the Technical Team undertaking Appraise studies for the TANAP and SEEP Pipelines in the development of alternative solutions for export of Project Stage 2 gas

Responsibilities and tasks:
• Deputise for the Turkey & EU Pipelines AGM
• Ensuring that all necessary technical work (Appraise/Select) is completed to enable approval of the project Define Gate in 2Q 2012 and FID in June 2013
• Selecting the multidiscipline members of the Appraise Technical Team for TANAP and SEEP in accordance with Region Group procedures
• Preparing plans and budgets for executing the work in accordance with CVP stage requirements, and seeking the necessary approvals
• Managing the performance of the Turkey & EU Pipelines Team in this Appraise stage ensuring compliance with the allocated budgets, planning the execution of the Team’s work, and allocation of responsibilities to the 3 direct reports
• Select engineering contractors and consultants to be engaged on the work.
• Manage 3 primary Appraise and Select areas of work in the development of an project gas export scheme leading up to FID:
o TANAP, the standalone alternative in Turkey; implementation of the JSA study scope agreed by the partners in the period to mid Jun 2012, when the consortium is expected to be formed and other agreements, eg, IGA, HGA will have been signed. After the TANAP consortium is formed manage the agreed workscope to the approved schedule.
o SEEP; the alternative to the EU Pipelines, being promoted by some of the SD partners; conduct Appraise technical work
o EU Pipelines, downstream of the western border of Turkey; provide technical assurance of proposals tabled by the competing consortia
• Develop necessary relationships with external stakeholders.
• Representation at project Partner meetings, ie FFD, ETT, ENT (as Deputy to AGM)
• Representation at TANAP Partner meetings
• Representation at SEEP Partner meetings
• Member of the Turkey & EU Pipelines Leadership Team
• Compliance with Client, Region Group and Caspian region policies, technical standards and procedures, and ensure staff do so
• Support to the Turkey & EU Pipelines AGM
• Support to other internal stakeholders, eg IST, Turkey Bus Devt Mgt
• Networking within Client and AGT Region to ensure use of ‘best practice’ and ‘lessons learnt’
• Assessment, coaching and development of Client staff
• Ensuring that plans for execution of facilities for export of project gas from the Georgia border are implemented post FID such that they are ready on or before Oct 2017 (the current first gas date)
