The Role:
The North Sea Renewal Programme is an integrated programme of work to improve overall efficiency and improve opportunities for value enhancing scope such as infill drilling. One element of the Programme is the development and execution of interventions to increase the delivery of scopes through increased POB or increased efficiency. Interventions on the Magnus and ETAP platforms are underway, and a third intervention (Clair Phase 1) is being appraised.
The Appraisal Team is tasked with assessing the requirements for an intervention, establishing (scope and cost/schedule) likely scopes of work and preferred delivery model, assessing the economics of the intervention, and preparing for handover to an Execution team.

JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the NSRP Project Appraisal Team Leader the Appraisal Project Planner will support the Team Leader through identifying and scoping project activities and deliverables, developing and maintaining project schedules (including integration with Activity Planning Asset Schedules), reporting on project performance, acting as Risk Champion, and contributing to the completion of project documentation. In addition, the Appraisal Project Planner will be required to support formal documentation of project processes developed as part of the project, and lessons learned.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To deliver against this responsibility, the Project Planner will support the NSRP Appraisal Team Leader through:
1.Identification, review, and progressing of project management processes and deliverables,
2.Identification of scope, and planning assistance, providing assurance that time and cost estimates are valid,
3.Update of progress on project work and ensure close-out of activities,
4.Design of performance management models,
5.Organisation and management of meetings and workshops,
6.Liaison with Project Teams and other stakeholders,
7.Risk identification and management,
8.Identification and recording of lessons learned,
9.Attendance at asset and project meetings
10.Development and maintenance of Project Schedules integrated with the existing asset schedule:
a.Detailed project engineering schedule, and outline site construction schedule, for the project, which covers the investigations and development work required to:
i.determine the scopes to be covered by the intervention,
ii.prepare agreed project deliverables, and
iii.obtain the necessary project assurance.
b.Initial scope engineering and site construction schedule for the project which consolidates, and enables delivery of, the agreed list of work generated by Functional Teams in Operations, Projects, Drilling, and Wells.
11.Ensure noconformance of project schedules with upstream Activity Planning Guidelines and Processes, Project 8Q and 12-week schedules are fully populated with all appropriate activities and are deliverable within project and area constraints

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced planning and scheduling professional with experience of (and certified training in) Primavera P6, and work with multi data/source inputs to create project schedules and update estimated forecasts to completion. Has experience of similar scale project activity including the utilisation of gated project governance processes and covering from development engineering through to site construction. Education to degree level is preferred, but not essential.
