The Company:
Our Client is the largest LNG producing company in the world.

The Role:
Primary role is to assist the Project Engineer/Manager with technical bid evaluations/analysis, review of contractor developed design drawing/documents, supervise construction, respond to technical design and site queries/issues, and general coordination to ensure the technical objectives of the project are met as it relates to Architectural Engineering.
Secondary role, when not in conflict with the primary role, is to assist the Discipline Engineering Lead in miscellaneous engineering studies related to the client Assets.

• Coordinates architectural engineering design to achieve the project safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.
• Interprets the Company’s technical design basis to guide Contractor’s engineering efforts.
• Reviews Contractor’s architectural design deliverables for technical accuracy and completeness.
• Monitors Contractor’s architectural design performance to ensure that design and execution objectives are met, and recommends necessary improvements.
• Engages other technical specialists where required to support architectural design.
• Supports risk management activities such as Design Risk Assessment, HAZID, etc.
• Provides support to the Procurement, Construction, Commissioning/Startup and Operations activities.
• Review and monitor project Architectural Design Changes and Non-conformance Reports

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience.
• Experience/knowledge in the application of CAD and Architectural Building Codes & Standards.
• Experience in development of buildings and material selection.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good technical team skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions on planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems.
