The Role:
An opportunity is available for an Area Construction Manager/LNG Condensate Tanks Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide visible safety leadership in the field, promoting Zero Accident and IIF culture with the workforce.
Actively participate and promote Company Managing Safe Work and Behavioural Observation programs.
Actively participate in site HES Audits, Field Reviews and Incident Investigations to ensure quality and effectiveness of contractor (and sub-contractor) HES leadership and HES management systems in the field.
Pro-actively review contractors work plans to identify upcoming risk activities and then facilitate and support hazard identification exercises and risk mitigation plans to reduce these risks to acceptable levels.
Responsible for site construction assurance for the Project LNG Plant.
Construction of the plant is at a remote green-field location initially involving significant civil site preparation, the development of an access road network, camp and support infrastructure and construction water supply.

Following this initial phase the construction work will include the plant facilities, comprising installation of pre-fabricated process modules, inlet gas facilities, flares, product tanks, gas export facilities, utilities, and permanent buildings.

Will provide assurance oversight of the primary EPCM contractor at site, ensuring delivery of construction work to meet project value, quality, schedule and cost objectives.
Ensure readiness of contractors at mobilization, identification and implementation of lessons learned at various phases of the project, and control of work in the field and adherence to execution change procedures.
Responsible for supervising construction field reps and project engineers in support of project execution assurance during construction.
Direct reports include a mixture of company employees and staff contractors.
Responsible for performance management, career development and the mentoring needs of these employees.
Responsible for providing direction, guidance, support and feedback in order to optimize their performance.
Responsible for ensuring compliance of construction activities with regulatory and land tenure permit requirements, and specifically with ensuring that adequate mitigation measures are available and in place during construction in order to avoid permit violations.
