The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Area Construction Planner based on a contract basis in Darwin. This is your opportunity to join a world-class project and play a major role in the development of construction, commissioning and operations.

Using your knowledge and experience, you will have responsibility for providing planning expertise to the Utilities and Offsite team, ensuring the best and most cost effective planning analysis methods are used during execution.

Main duties will include:
• Preparing the appropriate analysis reports to U&O Package Manager and assist in preparation of appropriate risk profiles associated with schedule analysis.
• Reviewing and commenting on Contractor / Subcontractor schedule and identify anomalies, construction logic flaws and main risks for the Project schedule.
• Supporting U&O Package Leads in the Scheduling and progress monitoring aspect of their relevant packages.
• Ensure the Contractors and sub-contractors schedules are accurate and aligned with the overall Project schedule. Highlight any potential deviations in a timely fashion.


Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this role you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in EPC, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
A highly organised team player, you will have experience with schedule development and project controls with an emphasis on Onshore, as well as construction experience to analyse Contractor/Sub-contractor schedules and reporting.
Experience of utilising Primavera P6
Track record of working on major capital construction projects
