The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
My client is looking for Area Lead E&I to work within their Process trains and Inlet Facilities to provide E&I construction expertise, guidance and support to both the Company and Contractor teams, utilising an array of experience to ensure the safest and most cost effective construction methods are used throughout the EPC execution phase.

Responsibilities:
•Supporting the ACM – Trains in planning, oversight, completion and commissioning of all E&I construction activities at site, and assisting in the delivery of Project Compliance, Oversight, Guidance and Support of the Contractor.
•Ensure the best practice construction considerations and methods are adopted by the Contractor and their subcontractors in relation to E&I activities.
•Maintain and continually improve E&I construction knowledge.
•Ensure construction carried out on site meets with applicable Specifications, Codes and/or Standards to ensure a smooth transition to Completions and Commissioning teams.
•Act as an interface across all key E&I aspects of the Project.
•Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with the company’s HSE policies and procedures.
•Participate in the Company/Contractor safety programs and in subcontractor pre-starts.

We are looking for a candidate with Tertiary Qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation discipline and/or with proficient experience in the area, to actively foster a ‘team environment’ within the onshore construction management and other functional teams within Darwin Construction organisation. We expect your strong supervisory skills to ensure the best practice to be done, and strong mentoring capability to ensure the development of junior onshore team members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation discipline and/or with proficient experience in the area
