The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
My major operator client is currently seeking an Area Lead - Inlet to perform a 12 month contract position FIFO to northern WA, working 8 hours per day on 28/28 roster.


This role is accountable to the Commissioning Manager to verify that compliance with Contractual and Company governance over the Commissioning Team, processes and controls, and will result in achieving Technical Completion of the Downstream LNG facilities for the LNG INLET facilities.

During the Commissioning preparation phase you will have no reports however during the Commissioning execution phase, you will leads a team of 6 commissioning engineers.

Key responsibilities For the LNG INLET facilities include:

• Development of Company strategies and plans to ensure overall readiness for the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Review contractor submissions of commissioning strategies and plans for alignment.
• During execution phase, lead the Company review of EPCM Commissioning plans; manuals and procedures, to assure feasibility and alignment with Company Governance.
• During execution, assure the EPCM Commissioning team's compliance to the Commissioning HES plan, in particular to management of Simops, safeguards and overrides and Log Out / Tag Out procedure application
• Provide input to the Engineering scope in respect to commissioning requirements and assure compliance to Management of Change protocol
• Manage the Handover of the LNG INLET facilities to the asset operations team
• Assure timely progress reporting and prodive advice to recover and prevent schedul;e slippage
• Lead the identification of potential Commissioning risks and the implementation of mitigation plans
• Assist in the development and execution of the IFF program

To be successful it is imagined you will have experience with:

• Site/field Experience in respect to commissioning activities within utilities/hydrocarbon facilities
• Experience of Contractor management head office/field
• Experience with oil major in owner in commissioning role
• Experience of handover management and or tools (Win PCS etc) and Completions management systems (WIN PCS or equivalent)
• Experience of the modular build approach
• Work experience with fabricators
• Work experience in Australia
• Commissioning management experience in major projects

• Strong influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships.
