The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for an Area Lead (Utilities & Offsites) to ensure that Utilities and Offsites packages are completed on time and in compliance with the EPC Contract.
- Reporting to the Utilities & Offsite Package Manager,

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Exercise all aspects of oversight over main contractor such that the project is safely delivered to the required standards and agreed schedule.
• Coordinate any required supports function to ensure efficient construction of the U&O modules / stick built packages.
• Attend any necessary progress coordination meeting with Client / Main Contractor/ Subcontractor.
• Hands-on support to main contractor and company teams during construction and pre-commissioning phases with the day to day coordination, control and performance monitoring of the main contractor.
• Ensure best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project.
• Regular physical presence on the subcontractor website.
• Attend HSE Management walk down on regular basis
• Ensure Lost Prevention Inspections’ (LPI) are being carried out on regular basis on the area of responsibility and attend regularly.
• Consolidate input to weekly construction report to U&O construction manager and site manager.
• Manage, with Contract Engineer and Package Manager support, the contractual and commercial subjects in relation with constructability and technical deviations within the medical scopes.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering or a similar field.
You will have demonstrated engineering experience in the provision of fabrication and construction technical advice for Onshore LNG.
You will possess an understanding of Australian specific requirements, standards and approvals.
With extensive experience in construction fabrication scope of works on previous Onshore LNG Projects, you will be a highly valued member of the team.
