The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
To manage assigned target industry accounts within a sales area, achieving the sales objectives and meeting or exceeding the set sales targets.

 Expand existing business by investigating new and existing market potential, thus developing the area to ensure long term growth of order income. Specifically the focus will be on Industrial markets including Energy & Chemical industries in the South of England . Accounts specifically will be key strategic accounts (end customers and and relevant contactors).
 “Team Work” with other sales personnel, feeder factories and Alliance Partners to maximise the total order potential for the company.
 Maintain close working relations with other Business Units, in particular service, control systems and engineering services divisions
 Provide technical, commercial and application support and assistance to new and existing customers.
 Obtain enquires and manage quotations, and where necessary assist in the preparation of tenders alongside the projects team.
 Prepare product/customer budgets for the area and develop a business plan to achieve them.
 Submit a monthly order forecast and maintain a live Prospect List.
 Update and maintain project pursuit tools and customer information databases (ProSales, Salesforce)
 Monitor and provide market intelligence on current trends and competitor activity.
 Promote the company’s image and interests by professional diligence and expertise

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Minimum of HNC Electrical /Electronic Engineering or Equivalent qualification/Experiance
 Minimum of 5 years of selling instrumentation into Process Industry
 Track record in Strategic /Value based selling
 Good communication skills at all levels
 Motivator
 Strong negotiation skills
 Good account management techniques
 Good team ethic
