The Company:
Our Client is a major Oil and Gas operator and has operations though out the world. This role will be working within the Exploration and production arm of my clients business.

The Role:
To provide discipline engineering expertise within the Asset. Deliver improved plant availability through the application of asset care, reliability engineering, technical support and the development / implementation of modifications.

• Manage, safe and reliant performance on designated Asset plant equipment and systems.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving asset reliability through the development and application of appropriate asset care policies for defined equipment and systems.
• Lead measurement discrepancy problem investigations and recommendations.
• Coordination of measurement audits for SVT, partners and regulators.
• Management of Measurement Calibration Routines
• Member of the Instrument On Call Rota.
• Audit site compliance with metering routines, reporting and calibration.
• Undertake criticality assessments of designated equipment and systems.
• Monitor, analyse and provide assurance on plant performance.
• Monitor, analyse and instigate corrective action on plant performance for reliability ‘defect elimination’.
• Complete reliability studies on designated plant and equipment and input into Asset operations and maintenance plan.
• Provide discipline trouble-shooting expertise for the asset.
• Provide technical input to incident investigations
• BRO for budgets allocated by the Lead E/I Engineer
• Ensure the rigorous application of Industry engineering codes, standards, practices and design guides

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline. Chartered Engineer in a relevant discipline
Experience in managing Measurement & Analysing equipment , Fire & Gas control systems, CCC. Instrument control loops.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of DCS Hardware, preferably Honeywell Experion, Foundation Field bus.
• Ability to network and a track record in delivering performance against demanding targets.
• Ability to lead people including those out with own team
• Demonstrate ability to work within own and other teams
• Strong Performance Bias and able to work under own initiative without supervision whilst communicating effectively with peers.
• Strong business awareness and knowledge of potential impact of actions on operational costs
• Ability to make wise decisions, including during times of stress
• Ability to be Innovative
