The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.

The Role:
The position will be based in Brisbane, whilst supporting the entire LNG project and company operations globally. You will do this by leading the implementation of an integrated plan and liaising with both internal and external parties.

Your team will deliver integrated plans on a ninety day and two year cycle, in addition to providing regular reviews and analysis. You will be required to raise risks and dependencies within different groups and identify areas of concern or probable non-delivery to commence intervention and corrective actions.

The role requires strong leadership skills, with two direct reports and numerous indirect. In addition to this, the individual will provide direction and leadership to the asset as a whole, especially the field based planning team. The successful candidate must be able to undertake domestic and international travel as required.

Responsibilities include:
• Define activity criteria and dependencies to include in plans
• Analyse plans to highlight breaks, risk & opportunities and report them to management
• Set-up and attend access to relevant Project, Operations & Development forums, meetings and reports
• Manage the Integrated Activity Planning & Scheduling tools and processes to ensure effective implementation

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or equivalent years experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering the successful planning of major Oil & Gas projects
• Able to demonstrate skills in: production planning and forecasting; managing asset integrity; performing risk assessment; leading emergency response and crisis management; handling employee relations; coaching and mentoring

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working on major LNG projects
