The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide

The Role:
As a Senior Consultant within the Integrity Management (IM) team you will be responsible for:

• The provision, quality and timely delivery of all work based on clients agreed requirements and targets.
• Achieving an identified personal utilisation target for contract work delivery.
• Taking a pro-active role in developing and securing new business. This will involve liaison with members of the Business Development team hubs regarding new prospects; providing information for potential clients; writing proposals and estimating the costs and resources required to deliver work.
• Supporting marketing activities within the team to support the growth of the business.
• Providing input to the development of new products within the IM team.
• Supporting improvement activities within the IM team
• Your preferred working style will be facilitative, participative and process driven.
• You will be expected to follow all company policies and procedures and take part in personal development and training as appropriate.
• This work will often take place on the client’s sites, both onshore and offshore and will involve regular travel.
• The role will require the ability to solve a wide range of challenging problems on behalf of the client, delivering cost effective, optimum, value add solutions.
• You will be responsible for the effective management of your own time.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate technical discipline.
• Currently chartered membership or working towards this.
• An excellent safety record.
• Experience in a technical engineering or consultancy position, ideally in an operations, integrity management, maintenance or engineering environment.
• Detailed knowledge of the offshore oil & gas sector in one or more of the following discipline areas – pipelines & risers, wells, subsea, structural, pressure systems, rotating equipment, electrical or control and instrumentation.
• Able to work and communicate effectively at all levels within a client’s organisation.
• Experience of facilitating and delivering improvement/change projects, which focus on equipment integrity/engineering reliability/legislative compliance/maintenance practices.
• Ability to work both on a ‘stand-alone’ basis or as a member of a multi-discipline team.
• A working knowledge of the UK offshore regulatory environment and its impa
