The Company:
Our international client helps process industry companies improve the integrity of their operations and assets. Their risk based approach reduces safety and business risks cost effectively.

The Role:
The end client has set up a Task Force formed from representatives of its operating companies (OPCOs) to develop Corporate Governance Codes of Practice (CoPs) and Implementation Guidelines for managing Asset Integrity. Our client has been commissioned to produce the CoPs in collaboration with the Task Force.

Role: A Coordinator is required to support the work of the end client Task Force. The work will involve supporting the Task Force members in a range of activities associated with this project including liaison and communication within and across the OPCOs.

The role requires an individual with general technical management experience. Strength in 1 or 2 technical areas could be beneficial, but not as important as general knowledge of a wide range of oil and gas assets, and sufficient experience in an operational role i.e. the ability to understand the relationship between the various departments (design, operations, maintenance, inspection etc.) in a large (multi-OPCO) context. The individual is required to have at least 10 years relevant experience in an oil/gas company; ideally this should include production of corporate standards/procedures at a “governance level”.

Duration: Role is for 6 months starting as soon as possible (the project has commenced).

Job specification:
1. Have a proven track record in good organisational and communication skills
2. Has a technical background (ideally via Engineering Degree or similar) and understands key aspects of Integrity Management.
3. Has worked in Oil/Gas/Petrochemical Industry for ten years or more in a variety of roles across the asset life cycle.
4. Must have the confidence to talk with lead governmental representatives at all levels in the organisation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally will have an Engineering degree.
Sound understanding of key aspects of Integrity Management.
