The Company:
A major international E&P operator

The Role:
The Asset Integrity Engineer is someone with a background in asset integrity assessment, inspection, and risk management, to provide services to our downstream (petrochemical and refining), upstream (exploration and production), pipeline, and gas facilities (LNG liquefaction and regasification / on-shore processing) customers. The person in this role is part of the Mechanical, Materials and Integrity Delivery Group.

The vision and goals of the delivery group (and of the individual) are:
-To be a service provider of first choice with a clear added value for Inspection, NDE, and Asset Integrity Management services. These services can include:
oRisk-based Inspection implementation, support and strategy development,
oRBI methodology and tool development,
oFAIR peer reviewer and/or leadership expertise,
oSpecific applied inspection technology know-how,
oInspection and repair methodology support,
oT/A challenge, support to risk-based decision-making, and
oAsset assessment in a due diligence role.
-To work in global alignment with other regions, and disciplines, most especially the maintenance, consultancy, mechanical, and materials and corrosion disciplines.
-To work for the company its joint ventures and customers as activity leader or via other activity leaders within MMI, or from operational excellence and/or project groups.
-To be part of a learning organization in which it is rewarding to work, and knowledge is shared effectively across the regions and disciplines
-To participate in industry consortia's and standards (e.g. API/ISO) meetings.
-To lead or participate in equipment related initiatives concerning reliability, availability, operability, integrity, technology deployment, remaining life assessments, etc.
-Provide metallurgical support to projects and operating units.
-Provide fabrication QA and QC support for projects and the TAMAP initiatives, working in cooperation with the Integration and Project Support group.
-Provide applied fitness for service advice (FFS) to operating units in such areas as assessing flaws in process equipment and prediction of remaining life of equipment under specific operating conditions.
-Provide research and development support in the areas of metallurgy and FFS to IRD and directly to the businesses.
-Manage and develop commercial relationships with customers
-Provide technical leadership and deliver personally, high value added technical services.
-Promote, support and develop strategies for the application of new technological developments involving all stakeholders.
-Establish and maintain a positive mindset for safety, other HSSE areas, diversity and inclusiveness and legal compliance and ensure that all appropriate standards are complied with.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-Engineering Degree or Equivalent; Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy/materials engineering or relevant engineering degree.
-Mandatory: 10 years operational experience in integrity/inspection, engineering in the oil and gas industry, preferably in operating units
-Mandatory: Experience with risk-based inspection; development and implementation
-Mandatory: Experience with pressure equipment integrity / asset integrity management systems
-Preferred: Experience with shutdown / turnaround inspections; management, planning and execution, advanced non-destructive evaluation techniques, welding, mechanical, metallurgy and/or material engineering, HSSE and quality management, Operational experience in fitness-for-service assessments.
