The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on supplying cleaner hydrocarbon energy.
Establishing a world-first project to turn reserves of natural coal seam gas into liquefied natural gas (LNG) – a carbon efficient fuel.

The Role:
The Asset Integrity Engineer is a key member of the Asset Integrity Team, responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of key asset integrity processes.
The incumbent will be required to support the Upstream and Midstream Operations Brisbane & Field based teams.

Position Specific
• Develop, define and communicate effective asset integrity processes and procedures including performance standards, written schemes, barrier models, barrier health management, cumulative risk
• To monitor and ensure compliance with clients standards and regulatory requirements
• Support the implementation of key Asset Integrity processes and systems such as Risk Based Inspection, Pipeline Integrity Management, and Technical Change Management.
• To prepare and effectively communicate the condition of the asset through Monthly and Annual KPI and Technical Integrity Reports
• Coordinate Asset Integrity action tracking and ensure satisfactory close out is achieved and documented
• Support the assurance of fitness of physical assets/ barriers to maintain design intent over full life cycle to enable safe operations at all times contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the business
• Support the Project integrity assurance processes such that all new plant is fit for service at handover and Barriers condition is assured
• Participate in asset integrity audits and reviews as required
• Manage minor scopes of work conducted by specialists, external vendors and contract support as required
• Participate in safety case reviews, updates and ensure currency and alignment with key asset integrity processes to ensure that the risk of a MAH event is as low as reasonably practicable
• Participate in management of change activities, ensuring that asset integrity/ barrier condition is not compromised by plant, process or organisational change
• Actively participate in the HSSE Risk Management Process, including Risk Register Management

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in integrity management related to hydrocarbons processing facilities including wells, gathering systems, pipelines, processing plant and LNG
• Relevant operations, engineering or integrity role within an asset
• Experience in the development of policies/procedures
• Experience with, and commitment to, gas plant and pipeline safety, maintenance, procedures and quality assurance

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary Engineering or trade qualifications, or significant experience in field gas plant maintenance management
• Member of a relevant engineering discipline such as Mechanical or Process preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian and Industry Standards
• Significant knowledge of Process Safety / Asset Integrity / Safety Case/ Barrier Management/ Major Accident Hazards core principles
• Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems & Processes
• Sound knowledge or understanding of key integrity processes such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Written Schemes, Safety Cases, ALARP and MoC
• Excellent communicator (verbal, written and oral)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to think around issues and problems and find solutions
• High level computing skills – Microsoft Office and engineering maintenance systems for plant and equipment
• Results orientated and motivated achiever
• Good time management skills
