The Company:
Our client is actively involved in numerous projects in upstream oil and gas industry in Vietnam. Our client is now in stage of development of discovered gas field Rong Doi and Rong Doi Tay. Commencing end of 2006, gas from this field is transporting onshore through subsea Nam Con Son pipeline and supplying Vietnamese gas consumers for over 23 years.

The Role:
Main Responsibilities & Duties;
• Asset integrity management for the offshore oil & gas production facilities, subsea pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and structural components.
• Long term planning and cost estimation for major inspection work such as vessel inspection, structural inspection, and pipeline internal/external inspection
• Implement a wide variety of inspection, repair, risk assessment, and corrosion management technologies to ensure that the offshore Asset Integrity Programs are executed with optimal effectiveness.
• Interface with onshore operations/maintenance team and offshore O&M teams
• Maintain the asset for the full life-cycle from design and commissioning through to close-down and decommissioning
• Take ownership and responsibility for the asset in terms of operational integrity and compliance to local and international regulations ,
• Identify and evaluate new technologies related to corrosion inhibition, corrosion monitoring devices and techniques, inspection tools and materials applications
• Make regular offshore visits and directly interface with O&M team and to monitor the platform condition
• Provide Their management with written reports and measurable KPI’s on the asset condition and or problem areas that require attention.
• Participate in technical failure responses, including failure analyses
• Participate in the daily Operations meeting between onshore operations and offshore Supervisory personnel
• Provide discipline engineer support to ensure compliance to Industry and Government regulations
• Key member of planned shutdown team:
 - Attend shutdown meetings with Their staff and selected vendors
 - Liaise with discipline engineers, offshore personnel and selected vendors
 - Provide input into master Shutdown Plan

• Understand and comply with Their HSE Policies
• Responsible for personal safety and the protection of others
• Proper usage of Personal protective equipment (PPE)
• If required, Investigation team member for any incident or accidents
• Support to onshore emergency response team as required
• Participate in Offshore Safety training such as HUET, Sea Survival and basic fire fighting

• Utilize CMMS SAP system to review and comment on PR raised by O&M
• Raise PR as required
• Liaise with procurement section as required
• Provide input to Lead Facility Maintenance Engineer for Budget Planning based on long term maintenance plan
• Consider equipment, Platform Shutdown and vendor costs when developing long term maintenance plan and evaluating ECP
• Maintain confidentiality of Their operations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education: Diploma Chemical/Mechanical engineering
Personal Attributes:
• A good command of English both oral and written
• Computer literate and knowledge of MS Office and CMMS systems
• Able to organize and control meetings between peers, Supervisors and field supervisory personnel
• Able to develop and execute maintenance plans in line with industry regulations
• Self motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a support team, to provide technical assistance as required to support the Rong Doi operations.
• Ability to organize own work and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Oil & Gas Experience & Skills:
• Typically 8+ years experience in upstream oil and gas industry and or refinery
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, valves, process piping, pipe fittings, offshore platform structure, sub-sea pipelines, cathodic protection systems, process systems
• Knowledge of protective coatings and applications
• Working knowledge of oil & gas industry standards such as HSE, API, NACE, ASTM, ANSI, and Vietnam governing body regulations for safe operation compliance.
• Knowledge of welding codes and procedures
• Pressure vessel internal inspection and associated confined space entry HSE requirements
• Understanding of sub-sea pipeline Pigging procedures and techniques to control corrosion, maintain pipeline efficiency and to maintain pipeline life expectancy for the life of offshore facility.
• Working knowledge of risk assessment
• Basic understanding of drilling and well intervention procedures and techniques
