The Company:
Our client, a growing, value oriented intermediate producer in Alberta, is looking to add to their team.

This role is to be based in Lloydminster, Alberta. It is NOT a rotational role, and there will be NO relocation package offered. Please do not apply if you do not currently live in Lloydminster, AB, or if you are not willing to move there.

The Role:
Reporting directly to the Manager of Facilities Engineering, this role provides the opportunity to be involved in a full range of responsibilities including the following:

- Ensure that correct technical and regulatory information is provided to internal personnel who make decision regarding pipelines and related surface equipment
- Implement the corporate Pipeline, Tank and Pressure Vessel Integrity Management Programs
- Assess integrity of all pipeline systems and develop mitigation plans for high risk pipelines
- Ensure that all pipeline, piping, equipment inspection and repair records are maintained in the history database
- Develop and maintain accurate list and mapping of all pipeline systems and verify on a regular basis
- Work with and train operations staff on regulatory compliance, and supporting the company pipeline, tank and pressure vessel equipment integrity programs

Additional Responsibilities:

- Promote, participate and make use of Near Miss reports, Work Site Hazard Assessments, Worksite Observations, safety meetings and Safety Audit inspections to ensure the highest standards for the Company and contractors
- Provide front-line technical support for Twin Butte Energy on issues related to corrosion, inspection, repair, and all equipment integrity-related regulatory issues
- Identify candidate pipelines for abandonment or discontinuation
- Work with operations to co-ordinate all field activities relating to the suspension, reactivation and evaluation of pipelines systems
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, integrity vendors, engineering contractors, and inspection contractors to manage integrity related issues
- Advise operations on B31.3 repairs and coordinate vendors to do the required work

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of field based asset integrity experience or oil/gas operations and maintenance experience
- Mechanical, Materials or Metallurgical technologist diploma
- Class 5 driver's license
- Strong knowledge and experience with Alberta and Saskatchewan's oil and gas regulations, guides and industry recommended practices
- Pressure vessel, pipeline and storage tank integrity management
- MS Office and engineering software applications
- In-service inspection with AP1 510 certification
