The Company:
With interests in over 20 UK Continental Shelf (UKCS) fields, my Client has one of the most significant exploration and production businesses in the offshore waters of the UK.

The Role:
Every individual has a duty to both themselves and those around them to ensure that safe practice is adhered to at all times. In addition to any specific accountability for HSSE, all managers are accountable for HSSE within their area of the Business and are responsible for ensuring that their team adopt exemplary HSSE behaviours.

Key accountabilities are:
• Assure safe and integrated delivery of the plan for asset, in particular all subsurface, commercial, economics, projects, HSSE, finance, legal elements
• Own relationships with asset stakeholders, as required to drive the successful and safe delivery of the business plan
• Define strategy for asset
• Own asset subsurface models and technology
• Review and approve operator activities; intervene, challenge and influence partners as required
• Accountable for definition and delivery of asset IAPS plan
• Define, maintain and execute asset stakeholder engagement plan
• Personally attend asset operating committee meetings
• Manage all asset partner relations for all issues, including attendance at all routine and ad-hoc meetings, leveraging capabilities to support as required
• Risk management and opportunity identification and capture
• Escalate issues to VP Assets as required
• Line management and performance management for asset allocated resource(s) – subsurface and commercial
• Day to day line management reporting for any projects, operations, wells and economics resources supporting asset
• Manage interface with Legal and HSSE to resolve any relevant issues on assets
• Manage interface with Finance and HR as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Dedication to excellence in HSSE and a strong track record.
Proven influencing and partner relationship skills with the ability to constructively prioritise and challenge work programmes.
Strategic planning and portfolio management experience.
Experience of managing budgets, forecasts and production analysis and resources.
Experience of driving and supporting an integrated planning system.
Experience delivering against targets within a goal-setting culture driven by KPIs to achieve successful delivery of the business plan.
Experience in operating assets in a operations management capacity.
Given the nature of key challenges to the venture , subsurface and/ or well engineering experience is essential.

Knowledge, Languages, Skills and Attributes:
Safety leader.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, chartership is preferred.
Multi-disciplined technical and commercial background/experience, in order to effectively challenge and support a multidiscipline team and our Joint Ve
