The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
In this role you will be working in the General and Administrative (G&A) finance team for our client. The General & Administration encapsulates people-related expenses.

The role has the following responsibilities and deliverables;

• Facilitate a portion of the Intercompany billing process primarily ensuring the on-time and accurate receipt of intercompany charges from our overseas cost centres.
• Manage Time-writing for staff, including training new employees and the reporting and monitoring of Time-writing G&A codes.
• Assist in the compilation of the monthly G&A analysis, reporting, and distribution of cost centre reports for Managers on the monthly and year to date results.
• Responsibility for the creation of Affiliate Work Orders.
• Maintain the AWO register to ensure there are sufficient funds in place to facilitate intercompany transactions.
• Monitor and approve invoices in Ariba, performing relevant financial checks.
• Ensure staff assigned to correct cost centres and liaise with HR as necessary to correct.
• Assist with financial month end procedures, including compiling accruals for input into JDE, preparing general journals, completing JDE general ledger reconciliations and performing general quality control tasks across the month end process.
• Provide assistance with compilation of annual G&A budget process.
• Provide decision support services to contract owners & business services teams as required
• Provide assistance with monthly expenditure reviews to ensure accurate and timely monthly cost reporting
• Maintain understanding of Australian Tax issues, and ABU policies, processes and procedures to ensure Wheatstone compliance

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this role you will be University qualified in Accounting/Finance, additionally you will have good interpersonal skills, have a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiplex tasks.

Experience using Excel, JDE and Ariba would be highly advantageous.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
O&G accounting experience is ideal but not mandatory.

Position duration is 12 months, located in Perth, working 9 hour days.
