The Role:
Job Summary:

•Ensure and execute effective management and follow up of HSE, QA, commercial and other none technical matters of the FPSO. Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and internal requirements, while also contributing to a highly cost effective and profitable operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all activities, for which he/she is responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements and the clients Management System Manual. In particular health and safety of personnel, natural and working environment and equipment shall be taken care of.
• Provide day-to-day HSEQ support to the Operations Manager(s) and the FPSO
• Coordinate and follow up all HSE related activities for the unit, including joint efforts with Oil Companies and relevant general Offshore Industry Initiatives
• Monitor HSE performance, prepare HSE statistics, establish and assess HSE performance trend of the operation.
• Follow up and promote high quality accident/incident reporting, including close out of agreed actions.
• Coordinate & administer the establishment of annual HSE & QA programs and follow up that they are executed in line with intentions and plans.
• Follow up and conduct as required other quality assurance activities including coordination towards QA department.
• Monitor and follow up Synergi actions as a key vehicle for organization learning and continuous improvement.
• Carry out regular HSE inspections and verifications onboard the FPSO/ Unit
• Share lessons learned and best practice with the other FPSOs/ Units
• Follow up and give guidance on how to comply with relevant HSE legislation
• Assist in implementing and monitoring compliance with standards as required (ISM/ ISPS/ ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18001)
• Assist in maintaining HSE related procedures and manuals for the FPSO/ Unit
• Coordinate and follow up that procedures, manuals and other documentation are effectively administered and updated as required.
• Coordinate and follow up required HR planning such as rotation schedules, training plans, etc.
• Facilitate and follow up that annual appraisal process are planned and conducted
• Monitor and ensure cost effective personnel logistics, such as travel and accommodation arrangements
• Administer and produce regular reporting on behalf of the OM
• Support OM in the business planning process, including establishment and follow up of budgets and activity plans.
• Conduct other management and administrative tasks as requested by the OM.
• Be part of Emergency response organization onshore
• Lead or take part in incident investigations on own and other operating units as and when required.
